Naruto, second series!?!

I read, that there will actually possibly be another Naruto, obviously, Naruto II, as I read, and that Naruto would be going off training with Jiraiya for two and a half years. Coming back, (sadly, becoming like Jiraiya, and I seriously can't see a perverted Naruto) Naruto is the onle genin out of the once "Rookie 9" (and Neji even becomes a Jounin) but I can't quite recall everything so here is what I personally read-

After this failed attempt to retrieve Sasuke, Naruto learns that circumstances have granted him a 2 and a half-year window to prepare himself to face Orochimaru (who had to switch bodies prematurely and now has to wait 3 years before executing his original plan of transferring into Sasuke) and defend himself against additional kidnap attempts from the shady organisation Akatsuki (who, according to Jiraiya's information sources and for reasons unknown, halt their plans to attempt capturing Naruto for three years). Naruto takes this opportunity to undergo intensive training under Jiraiya, as does Sakura under Tsunade. As Jiraiya was the Fourth Hokage's sensei, this places Naruto in a very good position to actually fulfill his dream to become Hokage or at least become a ninja of great renown, as most legendary ninja and Hokage are closely tied to one another through student-teacher relations. Though she does not tell him this, Tsunade is already certain he will grow up to become Hokage. So, after 3 months, Naruto heads off to train with Jiraiya. In the anime, Naruto's filler adventures take place during the 3 months before he leaves with Jiraiya. When Naruto returns to the village two and a half years later, he finds out, much to his chagrin, that he is the only one of his former-Genin social circle who is still a Genin. During his absence, the rest have become ChÅ«nin (and HyÅ«ga Neji even made JÅ?nin). In this new arc of the story, dubbed Naruto II, we see the growth of all of the characters, including Naruto. Naruto shows physical growth, sports a new outfit, and appears to not only have increased in strength and techniques, but intelligence as well (the pervertedness of his Sensei also seems to have rubbed off on him). However, He has little time to wander the village and greet all his old friends, as the Hokage sends him, Sakura and Kakashi on yet another rescue mission, this time to retrieve the captured Gaara (who has become the fifth Kazekage during Naruto's absence) from the hands of Akatsuki, who plan to extract the sealed demon from him for purposes yet unknown. Jiraiya's information sources indicate that Akatsuki has been growing impatient with their lack of success capturing Naruto. Thus this clash with Akatsuki seems to have been inevitable. They are first confronted by Itachi and Kisame, who turn out to be body substitutes by means of ShÅ?ten no Jutsu (Shapeshifting Technique), and defeat them. Upon arrival at the grotto where Gaara is being held, the group figures out that a barrier jutsu seals off the entrance. Naruto and Kakashi decide to confront Deidara while Chiyo and Sakura face Sasori, with Gai's team being preoccupied with a trap triggered by them breaking the seals. Both pairs defeat the Akatsuki members, and Gai and company defeat their clones. Upon retrieving Gaara from Deidara's clay bird and realizing he's dead, Naruto manifests KyÅ«bi's power into a similar form which he used against Sasuke, but this time almost advances into a two-tailed state. The fact that Kakashi knew how to contain Naruto's further transformation using a special seal he received from Jiraiya implies that Jiraiya has also witnessed Naruto's transformation during the last three years.

| | i dunno if u could say its a second series,...more like another arc to the story. the source seems like it's just a summary of what's going on in the manga too. although, whether it'd be a good idea to stop the current naruto from airing for awhile and start up again as naruto II might be a good thing to consider ...since the current fillers aren't doing too well |

| I actually find the "filler" to be interesting as it fills in the characters a bit more. And it also gives you a view into the drudgery of the life that is doing missions - and what must happen inbetween all of the main story events, of course. Yeah - I won't spoil it, but Naruto doesn't need to become a Chunin - he's as usual, grown a bit stronger(and finally FINALLY smarter) as well.
Oh - he's not perverted so much as a typical teenager. Yes, Naruto thinks about girls. Thankfully Sakura has no problem keeping him in line.
I can't wait - though by the looks of it, it may take a while to get started, since the manga has to keep somewhat ahead of the Anime. The Manga makes it clear that this is a DB/DBZ type of event in that there is a zoom forward and a whole new series is about to start. Yes, that means 100+ episodes, I'm afraid. :)
Then again, considering how crazy popular and what a good money-maker it is(and it doesn't get one tenth as boring as DBZ did) - why not continue it? |

This was basically just a giant spoiler for anyone who only watches the anime, and for people who read the manga it is all old news. |

Yes it is a spoiler, but only if you read it =P you don't have to read it y'know. ^^; If your own curiosity spoils it for you that's yoru own problem don't blame it on others =P

| | yea ive aready read the manga which is into the beginning of the second part of that its been good so far. Naruto is actually gotten smarter (as someone said up their) though he has his moment when he should just not speak. Sakura had become a medical ninja like the hokage and is probably near her skill level and with here chakra control she has also learned Tsunade's super strength. And we finally we see sasuke after awhile he looks cool in his yukata and with his sword. Hm i think sakura has gotten over that little sasuke complex she had. Im hoping to see a bit of romance between sakura and naruto. Garaa is ke kazakageof the village of the hidden sand. Oh also they put Tsunade on the hokage mountain. |

if you read the manga then you would know that the summary you wrote is just a description of the second part of naruto......
everybody were aware that current now naruto is filled with filler-epis.... when they end, the second part will start.. thats the summary you wrote.. a second naruto series?? i doubt it really^^ cause the first part of naruto hasnt end yet.....still 15-18 epis to go..and the second part is the most important part so we will at least see 1XX epis again, so it would maybe take another 2-3 years...... so you guys still thinking about a second series of naruto even when the first one hasnt end its first part? O.O |

It's not a second series, but the same one just the next season. Not to mention that was pretty much just a summary of the manga story like others have said WITHOUT a spoiler attached. For the sake of all that is sane in this world, how did this even make it when it's half the person's assumption and summary of the manga.
Can we check the articles more carefully before putting them on the new section? This is like that shoujo jump thing all over again... |

| In some sense, it is a possibility that it could very well be a "new" series in the same sense of what they did with Gundam Seed Destiny no? Or as mentioned above, like DB - DBZ - DBGT - etc.
I dunno, but it wouldn't surprise me. And yeah, same goes for me, at least attach a SPOILER warning on the damned post, despite having read the manga, others haven't. Though don't get me wrong, I understand the good intentions meant being a Naruto fan myself. |

| | its basiaclly the storyline from the manga. u guys need to read the manga. anyways, SOME fillers are intresting others are just lame. take for example the Bleach fillers with the Bounto thats just crap so boring and really long how many eps has it been on bounto? too many for me to keep track and im too lazy to find out. at least Naruto fillers aren't so bad, they don't concentrate on one mission for like 10 eps. |
