Is saying less really saying more?

This would be for all that send in reviews...

I'm not trying to bash on anyone here, but it seems to me that a LOT of reviews are just way too short and non-descriptive, simply stating how much they either liked it or didn't, not really going into why...

For everyone that has submitted a review in the past: GOOD JOB! You've at least taken the time to help out the website! But in the future, perhaps going into a little more detail as to WHY you like/dislike the series would help out any new people looking for a series to watch (I believe that's what the reviews are there for).

So instead of just saying that "this anime was good. i liked it alot. i would definitely recommend it", perhaps you could go into specifics as to WHY you liked it, certain aspects of the series that drew you in and kept you interested in it.

I've looked through several of the reviews, and I've only seen a few reviews that stand out above the rest, and really tell me more about the series. I know that from a night of looking through the reviews, I'm gonna check out at least 5 more series' in the next few weeks, and I dont think I could've been able to do that with one liners.

So for those that are writing very descriptive reviews, you are helping out more people than you realize. It is people like you that I believe anime continues to increase in popularity.

Finally, I would just like to congratulate EVERYONE that has at least contributed to the reviews in one way or another. Even if your reviews weren't very verbose, your rating still helped out in saying that a good amount of anime otakus out there really liked that series, and that it would be "wise" to watch it.

Sorry for this long rant... I'll try not to do it again ^_^
