Welcome to the new server of Anime-Source

Quick news to inform you that we have now moved to the new server. Please report any bugs and errors you may encounter.
Please note that we lost a little bit of data when transitionning, especially in the forums, maybe or two days worth of data. While we can't retreive it now, please tell us what was lost.
Thank you all for your understanding and welcome to our "new-same-as-old" home.

A-Source moving to a new server location

This is a quick news to inform all of Anime-Source visitors that we will be moving to a new server on August 10th. What does this mean for you, the anime fan?
Since we are changing host after many years of loyal services, it means we will have to change our DNS information. This process takes between 12 and 72 hours to complete, and in the meantime, A-Source will be unavailable for you to access. As soon as he DNS information gets spread out to the various ISP around the world, you will be able to access our website again.
The good news is we'll have brand new, more powerful, cheaper, better home for you guys to access us on.

Woweeee. It's been way too long since the "What's New!" update. The latest news is our Spring Anime Preview Guide. Just scroll down a bit on the news page. Be sure to thank AJ for all her hard work :)
You'll be overwhelmed with a massive lists of updates that are recent and not-so-recent. However, if you haven't been around since the last What's New announcement, these are all the things you may have missed.

GTX Fan Appreciation Contest - Final Results

Public voting on the winner of the GTX Fan Appreciation Contest ended a few days ago. This was an art/creativity-contest based on the stories shared in one of our daily-features here at Anime-Source.com; the "GTX: Great Teacher Xeno" blog serial... stories about teaching English in the Japanese public school system (elementary and middle school).
The list of the final results is posted. Also included are the runners'-up submissions (more cuteness, more comedy), as well as the prizes that will be awarded. Be sure to check back to our site often to see what contest is happening next!

Ah~ the spring season. Cherry blossoms, animals out of hibernation, allergies ... :x but we do get loads and loads of anime! Anime saturation! April is THE month where we get a spectacular list of new anime. That being said, "Read More" to find out what you might have missed regarding Anime-Source.

I'm a generous guy. I'm willing to send some cool trinkets and knick-knacks... and the occassional manga/anime item-of-choice hot off the Japanese store shelves... to those who may ask. Of course, I'm more willing to send stuff overseas if I were to get a little sumpin'-sumpin' in return... perhaps some loving fan-art and fan-mail having to do with my ongoing blog series hosted here at Anime-Source.com, GTX: Great Teacher Xeno. Over 160 entries of stories and photos from what I see, hear, and do teaching English in the mountains of Okayama.
In the later half of February, I announced a new contest I would host, mostly for the avid readers of the blog, but anyone could have caught up on a few entries to get enough details and information to create something to show some love and appreciation. There were plenty of submissions handed in before the March 31st deadline, and now comes the phase were the site-users (that's you!) vote on your top pick from the pool of finalists.

Anime-Source New Theme

Good day visitors of Anime-Source.com. As many of you have no doubt noticed, we have launched a new theme. The aim of this theme was to allow you to see more content on the main page without clogging the home page. I hope you like it.
As with all previous layout changes, we have some bugs here and there. Images not showing up, ugly color schemes. Please leave a comment if you notice any of those errors.
But wait, there's more!
